  • Due to a very saturated atmosphere morning fog expected.  Afternoon highs will range from the mid 80s northeast to around 90 in the southwest.
    East of I-65 we have a slight chance for a shower/t'storm to develop early. No severe storms are expected, but localized flash flooding could become a concern in the eastern counties if an isolated cell develops.  Due to a very saturated atmosphere morning fog expected.  Afternoon highs will range from the mid 80s northeast to around 90 in the southwest.

    NWS Huntsville did confirm 2 EF-0 tracks. One storm produced the EF-0 in Athens (peak winds 75mph), picked up and then touched down again nearer Elkmont (also EF-0 with peak speeds 70mph).
