    Today new students were able to move into their dorms on the campus of Samford University.Returning students will move in Saturday and Sunday.The campus lawns were filled with boxes of college life necessities and lots of parents were on hand to help the students get settled.The first day of class is Monday, August 25.

    The United Cerebral Palsy of Greater Birmingham held it's annual prom for students in the LincPoint Program.This year's theme was “Under the sea.”The prom was held at the gymnasium at Aldersgate UMC.The formal wear was donated and volunteers were on hand to help with hair and makeup, as well as decorations.Also, a prom king and queen were crowned at the event.
