Meredith Armstrong joined Alabama's 13 as a digital journalist in September 2011. She made the move back to her home state from our sister station WRBL News 3 in Columbus, Ga.
Meredith covers west Alabama, with a base in Tuscaloosa. The college town is nothing new to Meredith; she graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Communication and Information Sciences in 2009.
While in college Meredith worked for UA's Telecommunication and Film Department. You may have seen Meredith on our airwaves before -- She reported for Alabama's 13 during the days following the April 27, 2011 Tuscaloosa tornado.
Meredith was born and raised in Daphne, Ala. She and her husband live in Tuscaloosa. In her free time she enjoys exercising, spending time with her family and, of course, Alabama football. Roll Tide!
