You know how kids, especially around 4 years old, seem to latch on to a specific word and use it incessantly for a day or so? Well the other day Cruz, for whatever reason, started saying "angry" alot. And it wasn't so much "angry" as it was "an-ge-ry".
Like a typical kid being raised in the south, he turned it into a three syllable word. But, as you can imagine, there aren't alot of pleasant ways to use the word "angry". So, all night long it was, "I'm angry I have to take a bath!" Or, "having to eat dinner before dessert makes me so angry!"
After hours of this, my mother was tucking him into bed and said, "Cruz, you have issues". He "angrily" responded, "No, I don't!" They went back and forth a few more times, before Cruz jerked his bare foot out from under the covers and said, "See, I don't have any shoes!"
This is one of the reasons I love being a mom! Two adults would've never had this conversation, or this hilarious misunderstanding.
