After two weeks of football for most SEC, teams we’re starting to get a little bit better picture of the SEC talent level.
SEC Power Poll (Week 2)
#1 Alabama 2-0
The Tide looks the part after dominating its first two games.
#2 LSU 2-0
The Tigers pounded Washingtonfor a easy victory.
#3 Georgia 2-0
It looked like Georgia was in for a dog fight at Missouri, but pulled away in the 4th quarter.
#4 South Carolina 2-0
After struggling to beat Vanderbilt in week one, the Gamecocks bounced back with an easy victory over East Carolina.
#5 Tennessee 2-0
Tyler Bray is having a huge year so far leading the Vols to back-to-back easy victories.
#6 Mississippi State 2-0
The Bulldogs looked very impressive in their victory over Auburn.
#7 Florida 2-0
The Gators are nationally ranked and undefeated, but it hasn’t been easy of them.
#8 Missouri 1-1
Proved through three quarters that they could hang with some of the top teams in the SEC.
#9 Texas A&M 0-1
Much like last year, the Aggies had the lead in a big game, but lost it in the 4th quarter.
#10 Auburn 0-2
The Tigers are 0-2 for the first time since 2003 after a dismal performance at Mississippi State.
#11 Ole Miss 2-0
The Rebels looked good vs. UTEP, but haven’t been tested yet.
#12 Arkansas 1-1
I know they were bitten by the injury bug, but that's no excuse for losing to Louisiana-Monroe at home.
#13 Vanderbilt 0-2
Had the lead vs. Northwestern, but much like the South Carolina game, they couldn’t hold on to it.
#14 Kentucky 1-1
Picked up an easy win, but the Wildcats still have a long way to go.
