Blog: Heisman Trophy Projection Week Nine.

By Patrick Pierce

The Heisman trophy is one of the most sought after awards in all of sports, it’s an elite fraternity made up of what is considered to be the top players in college football. So who will the Heisman Trust invite to New York in 2012?

What we know week nine: .

Collin Klein is becoming a very strong front runner.

AJ McCarron got out to a quick start, but suffered a back bruise in the 3rd quarter. McCarron should be good to go for LSU, but he will be held back some this week in practice.

Manti Te’o had a clutch Heisman moment with his game sealing interception.

Braxton Miller returns from injury and helps lead the Buckeyes past Penn State.

These projections will evolve throughout the season as they battle it out on the gridiron.
