More than 80 players in the NFL have a connection to the state ofAlabama. Here are some of the standouts from week nine of the NFL season.

Alabama:

 

  • Javier Arenas, Chiefs: 9 tackles 8 of them solo versus Chargers
  • Roman Harper, Saints: 6 tackles 3 of them Solo versus Eagles.
  • Mark Ingram, Saints: 44 rushing yards on 7 carries versus Eagles.
  • Julio Jones, Falcons: reeled in 5 passes for 129 yards versus Cowboys.
  • Rolando McClain, Raiders: 6 tackles 5 of the solo versus Bucs.     

Auburn:    

 

  • Cam Newton, Panthers: Completed %56.5 of his passes for 201 yards with 1 touchdown versus Redskins.
  • Karlos Dansby, Dauphins: 9 tackles 6 of the solo versus Colts.
  • Sen’Derrick Marks, Titans: 5 tackles 3 of them solo versus Bears.
  • Takeo Spikes, Chargers: 5 tackles 2 of them solo versus Chiefs.
