TUSCALOOSA, AL -- Alabama strength and coniditioning coach Scott Cochran, you know, the guy always jumping up and down like a mad man on the sidelines. Well he took us on a tour of the new weight room for the Crimson Tide.
In classic Cochran fashion, he made it entertaining. Watch the video and you will understand.
The nine-million dollar weight room is 37,000 square feet.
It not only serves the back-to-back national championship football team but all Alabama sports teams.
The weight room not only features a state of the art nutrition center, and physians on site, but what Cochran is most excited about is cranking up the music.
"Our sound system is better than any night club in the country!" Cochran said.
Cochran is in heaven with his new work place, but admits, he did not have a say in the blueprint.
"This is the boss's," Cochran said. "I just say 'yes sir.' I ain't no fool. Coach Saban said this is how we want to do it and I said, 'yes sir'."
Smart man.
