The UAB Blazers are heading to Tulsa for the C-USA Tournament as the No. 7 seed.
The Blazers will take on the No.10 seed SMU who they beat (74-69) back on March 2nd. The tip time for UAB and SMU on Wednesday will be at 3:30pm.
If UAB beats SMU, it would set up a rematch with No. 2 seed Southern Miss, which swept UAB in the regular season.
Head coach Jerod Haase talked about his team building momentum during the tournament "I believe in a tournament setting you create all your momentum while you're there. In that first game if we can play well and get going and then well have so momentum going into the second game"
The Blazers are (15-16) overall in Haase's first season as head coach.
