Pedestrian hit, killed by train tops Saturday morning news - WVTM-TV: News, Weather, and Sports for Birmingham, AL

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department says just after 9:30 p.m., they received a call from CSX Railroad reporting one of their trains had hit someone near the crossing at Morris Majestic Road.
Deputies searched along with Warrior and Palmerdale Fire.
After a search, a body was located along the tracks 150 yards south of Happy Top Road.
The pedestrian appears to be a white male in his late 20's or early 30's.
He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The victim hasn't been identified, and the accident is still under investigation
