ANNISTON, AL -
Anniston Kmart shoppers will have to find a new store to frequent.
A representative for Kmart confirmed that the Anniston location will close to the public on March 17, with a liquidation sale starting next Thursday.
We're told the store is closing because it is under performing expectations.
Kmart is one of Anniston's oldest big-box stores, having opened its doors in 1973.
