As many expected after their loss to Florida in the SEC Tournament, the Crimson Tide did not make the 2013 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.
Only three teams from the SEC made "The Big Dance."
#8 Colorado State vs. #9 Missouri - Thursday, March 21st
#3 Florida vs. #14 Northwestern State - Friday, March 22nd
#5 Wisconsin vs. #12 Ole Miss - Friday, March 22nd

Alabama will be a top seed in the NIT. They will play Northeastern on March 19th. Two other SEC teams made the NIT:
#8 Northeastern at #1 Alabama - Tuesday, March 19th 8pm
#1 Kentucky at #8 Robert Morris - Tuesday, March 19th 6:30pm***
#7 Mercer at #2 Tennessee - Wednesday, March 20th 7pm
***Kentucky will play at Robert Morris because Rupp Arena is begin used as an NCAA Tournament site.
