BIRMINGHAM, AL -
A Birmingham man pleaded guilty in federal court to threatening the life of President Barack Obama on Twitter.
The U.S. Attorney's Office in Birmingham reports Jarvis Britton, 25, entered his plea Monday, before a U.S. District Judge in Birmingham.
A federal grand jury indicted Britton in September 2012 for knowingly threatening to kill, kidnap or inflict bodily harm on the president by tweeting the message, "Let's kill the president. F.E.A.R.," on Sept. 14, 2012.
Britton's sentencing is scheduled June 20, 2013.
