BIRMINGHAM, AL -
Two local women's college basketball teams have earned spots
in the Women's NIT. Both Auburn and UAB will play in the postseason tournament.
In fact, Auburn will host UAB on Wednesday, March 20th
at Auburn Arena. It will be the opening NIT game for both teams.
The Blazers finished the regular season at 18-12 overall,
9-8 in CUSA play.
As for Auburn, their overall record was 16-14, 5-11 in SEC
play.
It will be the first meeting between the two teams this
season.
