Storm damage from Homewood to Warrior

It wasn't the apartment design the architect mind.  The wind and rain gave a home in Warrior an unwanted makeover, after a tree uprooted and fell on top.

Ashley Eddy, who lives in a portion of the duplex, said it started with gusts of wind, then a showering of rain mixed with shingles.  She said just as she was ducking she heard something falling.

Eddy said, "I was pretty much in the hallway in the fetal position screaming with my hands over my head, which I think is pretty much the normal response for that.  It happened so fast."

Many residents throughout our area will be out Monday assessing the damage.
