Village Tavern, Chicken Parmesan

Chicken Parmesan

Serves 1-2


  • As Needed Canola Oil/Vegetable Oil for frying
  • 2  Parmesan Chicken, prepped (recipe follows)
  • ½ Cup Tuscan Tomato Sauce, hot (recipe follows)
  • ½ Cup Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 Tablespoon Parmesan Cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz. wt. Fettuccine Pasta, cooked, hot
  • ¾ Cup Tuscan Tomato Sauce, hot
  • 1 Tablespoon Parmesan Cheese, shredded
  • ½ teaspoon Parsley, chopped


  1. Pre-heat oven to 400 F. Pre-heat pot with canola/vegetable oil for frying.
  2. Deep fry prepped chicken at 350 F from 2 to 2 ½ minutes or until fully cooked. Remove and place on a plate lined with paper towels and allow to drain.
  3. Place chicken on an oven-safe plate for melting the cheese, overlapping fashion by one-quarter of previous piece.
  4. Ladle 4 oz. vol. of Tuscan tomato sauce over chicken. Top with mozzarella and parmesan and place in the oven until cheese is lightly browned and completely melted.
  5. Placed freshly cooked, hot and drained pasta at one side of the serving plate, making a small pile. Top fettuccine pasta with ¾ Cup of Tuscan tomato sauce, ensuring the pasta is completely covered.
  6. Place chicken from in front of the pasta. Garnish with parmesan cheese and chopped parsley.
