An overturned vehicle caused some delays for drivers on Red Mountain Expressway in Birmingham Tuesday.
About 2:00pm CT, the driver of a white vehicle apparently lost control, and flipped over into a grassy area.
The vehicle overturned on the northbound lanes, just before the Highland Avenue bridge.
Police officers had to close 2 lanes, which tied up traffic all the way back on Highway 280.
The wreck was cleared out before rush hour traffic.
