
The Crimson Tide is moving on.
Levi Randolph scored a team-high 13 points to go along with five rebounds as Alabama defeated Northeastern in their opening round NIT game, 62-43.
Alabama got off to a great start, opening the game on a 19-5 run. Despite that, Bama only led by five at the half.
Early in the second half, Northeastern got the lead down to one when Alabama went on another tear. The Crimson Tide went on a 22-0 run to put the game away.
Anthony Grant's team will now play the winner of the Stanford/Stephen F. Austin game in the second round of the NIT.
