Power restored to 176,000 Alabamians, 47,000 remain without - WVTM-TV: News, Weather, and Sports for Birmingham, AL

Alabama Power says power restoration is nearly 80 percent complete after Monday's storm. Officials says as of 10 a.m., more than 175,700 customers are back online and 46,700 people remain without power.
The utility says 32,109 customers are without power in East Alabama,including 5,109 in Anniston, 1,122 in Jacksonville, and 10,095 in Gadsden.
The officials asking customers in affected areas to be patient.
