HOOVER, AL -
Hoover Police are investigating what appears to be a murder-suicide.
Crews were called to 2305 Queensview Road just before 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. Upon arriving, they found Kimberly Jamison Ozburn, 39, and Jimmy Lee Frizzell, 55, dead.
Police received at least two calls about an argument inside the home.
Police say Ozburn had been stabbed, and it appeared that Frizzell fatally shot himself. Ozburn's mother had been inside the home when the argument started, but she was able to escape safely.
Police say Ozburn and Frizzell had dated in the past, but they aren't sure what their current relationship was. They did say they had been called to the same home before on a domestic argument call in February, but no one had been injured.
