A preliminary hearing was waived for a Gardendale pastor accused of killing his wife, and trying to kill his daughter.
Just before Greer's scheduled hearing at 1:30pm CT, word came that the defendant waived his right to the preliminary hearing.
The case involves shootings that happened back in January at a home on Country Meadow Drive.
The suspect's wife, Lisa Greer, died in the shooting. His 18-year-old daughter was also shot, but survived.
Greer was the senior pastor at Gardendale Mount Vernon United Methodist Church.
