TUSCALOOSA, AL -
A fundraising event called "Trike-A-Thon" has been moved back a week.
The event is held to support children at St. Jude's Hospital, and is now planned for Friday, April 5, 2013, at 9:30am CT at 2918 6th Street in Tuscaloosa.
Children ages 3 - 5 will ride their tricycles around a course marked on 6th Street to raise funds for St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
The Capitol School is the event's organizer, and the annual event raises approximately $20,000 per year.
Another goal of this event is to teach tricycle and bicycle safety to the children.
