The Miles Golden Bears wrapped up their spring football season last night. The Bears have to find a replacement for their second team all-conference quarterback David Thomas who passed for 2,059 yards with 13 touchdowns and 8 interceptions.
Head coach Reginald Ruffin said the biggest thing this spring was just getting his team better "I just wanted them to learn the system and get acclimated to what we do here program wise, we saw some good things and we saw some bad things, its spring ball so we have to make sure each and everyday that we are getting better. They are getting better and getting ready for this upcoming season, I think from overall watching them, I think they are grasping everything".
The Golden Bears will start the season on September ninth at University of North Alabama in Florence at 6:00pm.
