The Auburn women's basketball utilized 33 points from 26 Western Kentucky turnovers and grabbed 20 steals en route to an 84-66 win Sunday at Auburn Arena in the second round of the WNIT.
Hasina Muhammad posted a career high 27 points with nine rebounds and three steals, while Tyrese Tanner had her second-consecutive 20-point game with 24 points, nine rebounds, four blocks, three assists and three steals. Freshman Chadarryl Clay added 10 points and five rebounds.
Alexis Govan led Western Kentucky with 23 points, eight rebounds
and six assists.
Auburn now will host Tulane at Auburn Arena in the third round of the WNIT Wednesday night at 6 p.m. at Auburn Arena.
