It's the "Iron Bowl" of baseball: Auburn hosting Alabama, beginning Thursday. The Tigers play host to the Tide for three games, at 6pm Thursday and Friday, and, at 3pm on Saturday.
Auburn will try to end a four-game losing streak when the Tigers face the Crimson Tide. The Tigers are 15-10, overall and 0-6 in the SEC.
Auburn will start junior left-hander Conner Kendrick (2-0) on Thursday and left-hander Michael O'Neal (4-2) on Friday. A Saturday starter has yet to be announced.
According to Auburn University Athletics, Alabama, which is 16-10, overall and , 5-1 in the SEC will start right-hander Charley Sullivan (2-1) on Thursday, left-hander Jon Keller (3-2) on Friday and right-hander Spencer Turnbull (2-1) on Saturday.
The Tigers and the Tide have already faced each other once this season. Auburn won that game 6-3 in the fifth annual Capital City Classic.
Dating back to the 2006 season, the home team has won each series between the two clubs.
