Memorial high school golf tournament begins at Greystone

HOOVER, AL -

Al DelGreco is serving as tournament director this year for the 7th Annual Bradley Johnson Memorial Golf Tournament. This years event is Wednesday and Thursday, April 10th and 11th at Greystone Legacy.  Fifteen of the states strongest boys high school golf teams will compete to earn the coveted title. Following play on the 10th there will be a players dinner at Greystone Founder's clubhouse. This year's speaker will be Todd Thompson, owner of the Southeastern Junior Golf Tour, Hank Johnson, PGA top teacher and Bradley's swing coach. Johnson, Thompson and DelGreco all serve on the Bradley Johnson Memorial Foundation Board.

The Bradley Johnson Memorial Foundation is a non profit started following Bradley's untimely death in 2006. He was a standout high school golfer from Spain Park High School and on the national junior level. The Foundation assists junior golfers with scholarships to play the game he loved.
