The Kathleen P. Bruhn Memorial Leadership Open is today at Shoal Creek Golf Club. The tournament raises money for Camp Fire Alabama's programs.

This is the second year for the K.P.B. Leadership Open. The tournament was started in 2012 by the Board of Directors of Camp Fire Alabama and the Thomas E. Jernigan Foundation.

Camp Fire is a national non-profit that serves youth, teens and families across the country. The organization has several research-based programs focused on youth development. The Alabama Council serves over 11,000 children and youth in Alabama each year.

In addition to funding their programs, Camp Fire Alabama hopes to use the money raised by the K.P.B Leadership Open to establish an endowment that will one day over scholarship opportunities to the children they serve.

Here's a look at today's schedule for the K.P.B Leadership Open:

11:00a.m. – registration, lunch and silent auction begin

                1:00p.m. – tournament begins
