Alabama's gymnastics team will compete in the NCAA Semifinals in Los Angeles on Friday.
The tide is hoping to win it's third in a row National Championship.
They are one of just two teams in collegiate gymnastics history that has advanced to the NCAA Championships final site 31 or more years in a row.
Head Coach Sarah Patterson has several ways to get the team ready, and not all mean practice. She recently had Alabama Football Coach Nick Saban visit the team,
Saban told the two time champions, "you're not defending those titles."
He also said "this is a different team, it's a new year. no one can take what you've accomplished in the past away from you."
"Our ladies always enjoy when Coach Saban comes and talks to them," Coach Sarah Patterson said. "I think they get a tremendous amount out of what he has to say and the different perspective he brings to competing for a championship. they have a lot of respect for everything he's accomplished."
The Tide will be in Semifinal Session No. 2 on Friday, starting at 6 p.m. pdt.
