Local running shop showing support of those affected in Boston
HOMEWOOD, AL -
A local running shop is showing its support of those affected by the Boston Marathon explosions.
The Trak Shack is hosting a run and a blood drive this afternoon. There will be a moment of prayer just before the run starts
to remember those who lost their lives or were affected by Monday's bombing.
Birmingham runners who participated in the Boston Marathon
will lead the run.
The American Red Cross will be there as well with their
Bloodmobile for those who would like to donate.
The run begins at 5:30 p.m. at The Trak Shack, located at 2839
18th Street South in Homewood.
