A strong cold front will move across the state early Friday morning, providing a more widespread threat for strong to severe thunderstorms across central Alabama. Cooler and drier air will enter the state on Friday after midday, as strong high pressure builds into the Midwest and Ohio Valley regions from Canada. Morning low temperatures will be in the upper 30s/lower 40s at many locations on Saturday and Sunday mornings, with highs mainly in the 60s to near 70 degrees.
