You might not see former Heisman winner Mark Ingram on the playing field tomorrow at Alabama's A-Day, but you will have a chance to see the former Alabama standout in the Chris Rogers Annual Paintball Tournament.
Other big time former gridiron greats playing in the tournament include Trent Richardson, Mark Barron, Eddie Lacy, Dee Milliner. The proceeds from the tournament will go to a nonprofit started by former Alabama player Chris Rodgers called TAP and to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
TIDE READY FOR A-DAY
Chris Rodger stopped by the Alabama Tonight studio this afternoon to talk about the event and the foundation that he started in honor of his mother. "Most importantly the event got started for my mom who was diagnosed with breast cancer over five years ago, and I just want to do something special for her and let her know that life ant promised. That's one thing coach Saban always focuses in on, you go to make the most of every moment" Rodgers said.
The tournament starts after A-Day at 5 p.m. at Central High School in Tuscaloosa.
