A major fundraiser is on the road ahead for the
Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind (AIDB) Foundation.
The event is called "Race Fever."
"Race Fever is a fast-paced event featuring an all-you-can-eat BBQ feast from Williamson Bros., a massive silent auction filled with unique racing memorabilia and other great items, an incredible Live Auction with once-in-a-lifetime race experiences plus the chance to see and meet dozens of NASCAR Sprint Cup, Nationwide and ARCA drivers," according to organizers!
AIDB serves thousands of children and adults who are deaf, blind and multi-disabled each year, according to the foundation. "This is the nation's most comprehensive education, rehabilitation and employment system serving children and adults who are deaf, blind and multi-disabled with a myriad of programs designed just for them. For more than a century and a half, AIDB has been investing in the lives of thousands of infants, toddlers, children, adults and seniors who are challenged by hearing and vision loss."
The 2013 Race Fever Fan Frenzy will be held Friday, May 3, 2013 at the SPEED Channel Dome -- International Motorsports Hall of Fame -- at the Talladega Superspeedway.
Tickets are $50.
A table for 8 is $375.
