There's a new display in Birmingham to honor those who participated in the Civil Rights Movement of 1963.
A special ceremony was held tonight as part of the city's "50 Years Forward" celebration.
Four beacons of light were illuminated around 16th Street Baptist church.
Because the church is a National Historic Landmark, the city was given permission to use the lights from now on.
The pillars represent the four little girls who were killed in the 1963 16th Street Baptist Church bombing.
