Another former Alabama State Trooper was sentenced Thursday for using a state credit card to buy gasoline for his personal use.
The Alabama Attorney General's Office reports Kenneth Grissett, 52, of Tuscaloosa, pleaded guilty to Theft of Property 2 in Tuscaloosa Circuit Court.
He was sentenced to 3 years, which was suspended for 3 years of probation, and ordered to pay $1,225 in restitution.
Grissett stated to ABI investigators and records that showed Grissett purchased more than $500 worth of gasoline for his personal vehicle with a state credit card from January 2010 to February 2011.
This is the third state trooper to plead guilty to felony charges related to improper use of a state credit card.
