The four victims of the 16th Street Baptist Church Bombing will soon be given one of the nation's highest civilian honor. The U.S. senate has unanimously passed a bill to honor the four little girls killed in the 1963 bombing with the congressional gold medal. The house had already passed the bill and it now heads to President Obama's office to be signed. The house bill was introduced by U.S. Representatives Spencer Bachus and Terri Sewell.
U.S. Congresswoman Terri Sewell talked exclusively Friday morning on Alabama's 13 about the unanimously senate vote and what's next.
