Tuscaloosa man arrested for allegedly setting vehicle on fire

TUSCALOOSA, AL -

A man was held in jail Friday, after being arrested for allegedly setting fire to a vehicle.

The Tuscaloosa Police Department reports Steven Matthew Lyons, 20, was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief 1st Degree, Public Intoxication, Giving False Name To Law Enforcement, and Obstructing Governmental Operations.

Officers were called to the 1100 block of East Hargrove Road at 1:50am CT Friday, May 10, 2013.

Officers saw a black Audi A4 on fire and the windows were busted out.

While there, officers were called to another fire reported nearby in the brush, and when they arrived, began a foot chase with the suspect, and then arrested him.
