GAINESVILLE, FL -

Damek Tomscha hit a solo home run to start the fifth and Ryan Tella hit a three-run home run with two down in the sixth as Auburn claimed a 4-1 win at Florida on Sunday afternoon. With the win Auburn won its fourth SEC series of the season and moved to 31-20, 11-16 SEC. Florida dropped to 28-25, 13-14 SEC.

"Today was as big a day as we have had all year," Auburn Head Coach John Pawlowski said. "To respond the way we did. It was a tough one last night and we had to put that behind us. To come out here, the will to win and the passion to come out on the winning end was a testament to this team. I am really proud of this team today."

Chase Williamson (3-0) earned the win out of the Auburn bullpen, entering in the fifth for starter Justin Camp with two on and one out. Williamson needed five pitches to get a ground ball double play off the bat of Casey Turgeon and keep Auburn ahead, 1-0.

Williamson finished the day tossing 2 2/3 innings, allowing a run on two hits while striking out one.

Terrance Dedrick earned his eighth save of the season with two innings of scoreless relief. Auburn's closer, he came in the eighth with a man on second and none out and a run already in in the inning. He would walk the bases loaded with one out but he got a strike out of Vickash Ramjit and a fielder's choice from Josh Tobias, who hit the game-tying home run on Saturday, to keep Auburn up by three. His eight saves are the most by an Auburn pitcher since Austin Hubbard finished the SEC West Championship season with 10 saves.
