New DeKalb County deputies graduate from law enforcement academy

FORT PAYNE, AL -

The citizens of DeKalb County will soon have more deputies protecting them.

DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris announced the graduation of Nathaniel Bates, Andrew Brown, Lonnie Hairel, and Daniel Mathews from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Academy.

The graduation was held Sunday, May 12, 2013, at the Bessemer Civic Center.

Sheriff Harris stated, "I want to sincerely congratulate Deputies Bates, Brown, Hairel, and Mathews. I know they will do an outstanding job for the citizens of our county."
