Two Etowah County women charged with chemical endangerment of a child

ETOWAH COUNTY, AL -

Two Etowah County women have been arrested and charged with chemical endangerment of a child, according to Etowah County Sheriff Todd Entrekin.

Tiffanie Angelia Mitchell, 23, of Gadsden, was arrested on May 6.

She is charged with one count of chemical endangerment of exposing a child to an environment in which controlled substances are produced or distributed. 

Breanna Latreace Wilson, 18, of Attalla, was arrested on May 2.

She is also charged with one count of chemical endangerment of exposing a child to an environment in which controlled substances are produced or distributed.

The charge is a class A felony. 

According to the Sheriff's Office Wilson was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center and later released on a $5,000 property bond.

Mitchell is currently being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center in lieu of a $5,000 property bond.
