A four-vehicle crash claimed the life of one man and injured three others this morning in Macon County.
Steven Fox, 31, of Madison, Ga., was killed when the 2004 Freightliner he was driving stuck a 2007 Peterbilt, which struck 2013 Toyota Sienna that subsequently hit a 2003 Freightliner. The drivers of the latter three vehicles were injured as a result of the collision and were transported to an area hospital.
The crash occurred approximately at 9:23 a.m. on I-85, southbound at the 19 mile marker, three miles south of Shorter.
I-85 has reopened, as of 5:00pm CT.
