UPDATE:

There are currently two suspects in relation to this case.

After Hannah was shot, the suspects fled the scene. Suspect Ronald Ross, 24, was spotted and captured in the 2600 block of Carolina Terrace.

The other suspect, Jimbroski Peterson, 20, is not in custody.

Anyone with information on Peterson's whereabouts or information about this case are asked to contact the Police Department at (205)425-2411.

 

Bessemer Police are investigating the death of a man found shot yesterday as a homicide.

According to the coroner, police were called to the 1000 block of Exeter Avenue around 8 p.m. yesterday.

Jimmy Bernard Hannah, 28, of Bessemer, was found suffering from gunshot wounds. He was transported to UAB Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
