After signing his third waiver form at Barber Motorsports Park, Kyle Burger was ready to suit up for his GEICO Honda Two-Seat Superbike ride with professional driver Chris Ulrich.
"First of all, people think we're going to go really fast, which we are," Ulrich said. "But you're going to be able to feel all the sensations that we feel on the g-forces on braking, the angles we'll get, the acceleration force."
How fast will he go? Fast. Ulrich's Superbike was clocked at 195 mph at Daytona, but due to the aerodynamic inefficiency of having Kyle on the bike, they'll reach speeds ofr 140-150 mph.
Before getting on the bike, Kyle was told no one's fallen off the back, but not to take his hands or feet off while in motion. As if he needed a reminder.
He was also told the key to having to good time is to relax and trust Ulrich like he's your best friend driving the car.
