Woman charged with murder after body found in burned Birmingham house

BIRMINGHAM, AL -

The Birmingham Police Department has identified the suspect in a homicide investigation centering on a body found in a burned house.

According to the BPD, Olivia Doutly, 22, of Birmingham has been charged with felony murder in the death of William Radney, 69, of Birmingham.

Radney's body was found in the basement of a house that had been on fire Saturday on 63rd Street South. Investigators began a homicide investigation after discovering wounds on his body that would not have been inflicted by the fire.
