Kenneth Seay, Christopher Kuykendall and Brittany Seay were arrested after attempting to break into a Crossville man's camper. Items from a home burglary at the same place the day before were located in their car.

A Crossville man's home was broken into Sunday. When a trio tried to break into his camper the next day, they got a little more than they bargained for.
According to DeKalb Co. Sheriff Jimmy Harris, a home on County Road 24 was broken into Sunday. The owner was cleaning up from the break-in on Monday when he heard people outside and found three people trying to break into his camper.
The owner called the Sheriff's Office, then held the offenders at gunpoint until the authorities arrived.The victim noticed some of his belongings from the first burglary in the suspects' vehicle.
Brittany Necole Seay, 24, of Guntersville; Christopher Allen Kuykendall, 33, of Albertville; and Kenneth Seay, 40, of Guntersville, were arrested and charged with third-degree burglary.
All of the missing items were located in the offender's vehicle and returned to the owner.
"We always hope that the home owner has the opportunity to call the Sheriff's Office of 911 first," Harris said. "You have the rights by law to protect your family and your property. This homeowner did this and we were able to make the arrest. We are just glad that no one was injured in this situation. I would also like to thank the Crossville Police Department for working so well with our investigations and deputies on this case."
