We are now less than 50 days away from the start of the college football season.
Alabama's 13 Sports recently had the chance to talk to ESPN anchor Dari Nowkhah about the upcoming season on the Capstone.
The Tide will be going for an almost unheard-of college football three-peat. The college football three-peat is so rear the last team to do it was Minnesota, the Gophers won championships in 1934, 35, and 36. Now almost 80 years later Bama has a chance to make history and extend their dynasty.
"Now you are looking at the very rear three-peat in this day and age", Nowkhah said. "They're potentially able to do it with a ton of experience. There's nowhere on that football field that they're not strong".
Is there a weakness on the 2013 Alabama football team? Most would point to three new offensive lineman, and loss of Dee Milliner and Robert Lester in the Tides secondary.
Even with the amount of talent that has left for the NFL, Alabama remains the favorite to most every expert.
"I don't think the challenge is going to be there", Nowkah said. "I think they proved last year that they can keep that motivation and fire. They're my preseason #1 and quite frankly it's not even close".

"Not even close" I'm sure Ohio State and a couple of PAC-12 teams would disagree with Nowkah, but it's really not an augment unless the Tide falls.
Alabama opens their season in the Georgia Dome versus Virginia Tech.
