More than 80 dogs were rescued from a house in St. Clair County this week.
Officials pulled 86 dogs and 8 cats from one home in Odenville Tuesday.
Animal rescue workers say the animals are being kept at the Animal Shelter of Pell City, and they are being kept separate from the other animals at shelter, until they are medically checked and cleared.
Some of those animals rescued had injuries, which likely came from overcrowding.
The woman who lived at the house says it's all a misunderstanding, and says people dropped many of the animals off at her house.
The Animal Shelter of Pell City is in need of supplies to help take care of these animals. If you're interested in helping, you can contact the shelter at 205-814-1567.
