Dameyune Craig is excited about the future of his receivers

Posted: Updated:

The Tigers taking the day off after seven consecutive days of practice, the 2nd scrimmage of fall camp will be held tomorrow.

One big area for concern during this preseason is at wide receiver. The Tigers have to replace their top receiver Emory Blake, along with Philip Lutzenkirchen, and Onterio McCalebb.

This season the Tigers will be leaning on Trovon Reed, Sammie Coates, and Quan Bray. Co-offensive coordinator Dameyune Craig is excited about the future of his receivers. "Coming out they're working hard, they're being physical, having a passion for the game," Craig said. "They're excited about playing football and they're enjoying each other. I'm excited about his group and the future of Auburn football with these guys."

Auburn opens their season on Saturday, August 31st versus Washington State.
