Auburn working on getting their edge back

Posted: Updated:

Auburn returned to the practice field today after enjoying yesterday off. The Tigers wrapping up two-a-days, continuing to get ready for their Saturday, August 31st season opener at home against Washington State.

Still though, with just two weeks before Washington State comes to town, the Tigers still have questions to answer. "We have a lot of stuff figured out now, but there is still a few little question marks," Malzahn said.

There was some injury news today for the Tigers. Starting defensive end Dee Ford has a knee injury. Malzahn wouldn't go into much detail, but hopes Ford will be back for the Washington State game.

The Tiger have had a very physical fall camp "We are a little bit banged up, but not a bad banged up," Malzahn said in regards to the physical workouts. "I think we have been working hard on getting our edge back."

That's an edge the Tigers will need coming off of one of the worst seasons in school history.
