Temperatures in the southeast will continue to be slightly below average over parts of The Deep South. We've had a stalled out front extending from the Carolina Coast roughly southwestward to the Central Gulf Coast. This will continue to be the focus for showers and thunderstorms through Tuesday evening. Some people may be curious as to why we have been so breezy and cool. An upper-level trough is nearly stationary across the mid-west into the Ohio valley, streaming cooler air into the state.
