Two K9 deputies in Calhoun County received protective vests.
The Calhoun County Sheriff's Office reports K9s Robbie and Leo received bullet-resistant and stab-protective vests.
The vests were recently delivered, courtesy Vested Interest in K9s, Incorporated.
The group is a non-profit organization, based in Massachusetts, whose mission is to protect safety vests for law enforcement dogs throughout the United States.
Each vest costs $950.
Vested Interest in K9s has provided 425 law enforcement dogs with protective vests since 2009.
